Likely causes

• The domain ID or name is wrong, or the domain was never added to this workspace.
• Your root key doesn’t have permission. domains.getDomain, domains.deleteDomain, and domains.verifyDomain return this 404 instead of a 403, so it’s as likely a permission problem as a missing domain.

How to fix

1. List domains with domains.listDomains and use the returned ID.
2. If the ID is right, check the root key’s permissions before you decide the domain is gone.
