err:unkey:application:invalid_environment_settings
The you’re deploying to has settings a deployment can’t run with, so deployments.createDeployment didn’t start one. You get HTTP 400, and detail lists every problem, separated by semicolons, with your current value in parentheses.
Example response

Likely causes

  • CPU is below 250 millicores.
  • Memory is below 256 MiB.
  • The environment has no region it can run in.
  • The port isn’t between 1 and 65535.
  • You’re deploying from git to an environment created for prebuilt images, which has no build settings. The message names the environment slug.

How to fix

  1. Update the environment in the dashboard or with environments.updateSettings so every problem in detail is fixed.
  2. Create the deployment again.
These values live on the environment, not in your request, so retrying with different arguments won’t help. Nothing was created, so there’s no deployment to clean up.
