err:unkey:authorization:key_disabled
The root key you’re using still exists, but it’s disabled, so every request with it fails. You get HTTP 403.
Example response
Keys you check with keys.verifyKey never return this error. A disabled key there comes back as valid: false with code DISABLED.

How to fix

  1. Create a new root key under Root Keys in the dashboard sidebar, with only the permissions the service needs.
  2. Switch the service to the new key and delete the disabled one.
  3. If you don’t know why the key was disabled, contact support with the requestId.
