`@unkey/nuxt` (version {versions.tsNuxt} on npm) is a community-maintained Nuxt integration for Unkey. We don't maintain or test it.

## What the registry says

It's built on an old version of `@unkey/api` (`0.20`), so it uses older response shapes, not the `Unkey` client documented in [@unkey/api](/docs/api-management/sdks/typescript/api). Check the [npm page](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@unkey/nuxt) for its options.

## Install

## Supported alternative

For a setup we support, use [@unkey/api](/docs/api-management/sdks/typescript/api) in a Nuxt server route or middleware. Create the client with a root key from runtime config, and call `keys.verifyKey` with the bearer token from the request. It's the same few lines the [Hono](/docs/api-management/sdks/typescript/hono) and [Next.js](/docs/api-management/sdks/typescript/nextjs) packages run for you.
